After your treatment

The following guidance can help you care for your hair and scalp following your Cloud 9 treatment.
- Avoid washing your hair for 24 hours.
- Avoid intense heat styling immediately after your treatment.
- Be gentle when brushing your hair.
- Use recommended products and keep your scalp hydrated.
- Massage your scalp regularly.
- Limit chemical treatments and protect your hair and scalp from prolonged sun exposure.
- Monitor your scalp and hair and speak to your therapist if you have any concerns.
Why we recommend avoiding excessive heat
Following your head spa treatment, we recommend giving your freshly cleansed and conditioned hair and scalp time to settle and allowing the products used during your treatment to remain in the hair. Avoiding excessive heat immediately afterwards also helps prevent unnecessary drying or irritation.

No — there's no need to wash your hair before your appointment.
What should I wear?
A vest or top with thin or no straps is recommended.

Please let us know in advance about any allergies or sensitivities so these can be considered when preparing your treatment.

Is a Cloud 9 Head Spa suitable for me?
Our Japanese Head Spa treatments involve scalp massage, pressure point stimulation, reclining position and deep relaxation techniques.
Please contact us before booking if any of the following apply:
- We're unable to provide treatment during the first 14 weeks of pregnancy. After 14 weeks, treatment may be possible with approval from your GP or midwife.
